    ABSTRACT:

The only way to teach language is by creating environment which will make the development of the target language easy to master by the learners since it has been said that language cannot be taught (Dana et al., 2013). Writing is the most difficult of the four language skills and it is not easy to acquire especially in second language situation. Teaching writing skills in Nigeria and around Asia is faced with many problems and in the process of learning it students are prone to difficulties using the traditional method in the classroom teaching becomes passive and the classroom activities become monotonous. Therefore, new global method should be introduced to make the learners active in the classroom & this paper looks at how process approach can help reduce the difficulties students faced in the teaching and learning writing skills, and the benefit of introducing the process approach for teaching writing skills at tertiary institutions.

    ABSTRACT:

The co-operative communication is a cellular network and it is used to reduce the energy consumption in Mobile Terminals. But it is difficult to implement, because it has some problem for paying incentives to the mobile terminals in co-operative communication. Here pricing mechanism is introduced to pay the credits for the helping mobile terminals to upload the data to the source mobile terminal with the help of co-operative communication. Source mobile terminals knows all the information of the helping mobile terminals like channel condition, battery condition this is consider as the full cooperation under complete information. Selecting the relay is major problem. In practical co-operative mobile terminals used to co-operative in uncertainty of helping mobile terminals conditions. In this case a partial co-operative with pricing mechanism is proposed. It is allowed to select and pay another mobile terminal in promising to help the forward the data to base station even though poor battery condition or bad channel condition. In proposed system, a Fibonacci search procedure used to reduce the searching time and get a better output. The relay selection problem and multi relay can be used to avoid the data traffic and supporting the data communication

    ABSTRACT:

The study examined the impact of capital market on foreign portfolio investment in Nigeria for the period 1986 to 2014. The study specifically assessed the relationship between market capitalization, all share index, total new issues and foreign portfolio investment in Nigeria. To achieve these objectives, the study adopted the ex-pose facto research design. The desk survey method was used to collect time series data from the CBN statistical Bulletin for the period under study. The ordinary least squared multiple regression technique was used to analyse the data. Result from the analysis showed that there exist positive and significant relationships between market capitalization and foreign portfolio investment. Also, it was revealed that all share price index had an inverse but significant relationship with foreign portfolio investment in Nigeria and finally, total new issue had a positive but insignificant relationship with foreign portfolio investment in Nigeria. Based on these findings, it was recommended that the regulatory authorities should ensure that abuses and sharp practices are completely eradicated from the market to enhance transparency and fair play and boost the confidence of foreign investors to retain and increase their investments in the market. Also government should relax the listing requirements of both the first and second tier securities markets to encourage more domestic firms and foreign firms to be listed to be listed as this will enhance more portfolio investment in the market and lastly government should introduce more investment instruments such as derivatives, convertibles, future, and swaps options in the market to give foreign investors more avenues to invest their securities.

    ABSTRACT:

Aim: The aim of the study was morphometricevaluation of pterygoidhamulus using CBCT. Material and Methods: CBCT images of 40males and 40females with age >20years were evaluated. The length, width, inclinationandincidence of shape of PH was evaluatedwith respect to side and gender.Independent t-test was used for statistical analysis. Results: The mean length of PH of both sides in males and females was found to be 11.5 +0.75 and 10.09 + 0.45 mm, inclinations in sagittal plane was 12.74° + 30.45 and 15.22° + 30.65 in anterior direction, inclinations in coronal plane was 11.5° + 31.05, 19.7° + 39.15 in medial direction whereas, it was 79.13°+30.4 and 71.5°+38.7 in lateral direction.Incidence of shapes of PH was 2.6,2.4 for triangle 1.7 and 2.2 for slenderrespectively with statistically significant difference. Mean width values in males & females was found to be (left) 3.04 + 0.6 , 3.06 + 0.5 and (right) 2.01 + 0.4 and 2.02 + 0.3mm,inclination in sagittal plane (left) was 47.2°+ 20.1 and (right) 47.28°+ 22.1 ,47° + 20.1 and 47.1° + 22.1 in posterior direction respectively with statistically insignificant difference. No statistically significant difference was found between left and right side except the inclination in coronal plane was more in left as compared to right side.Inclination in coronal and sagittal plane was more on lateral and posterior side respectively. Conclusion: Appraisal of the morphology of PH is helpful as it provides insightfor differential diagnosis of the imperceptible pains inoral cavity and pharynx.

Aim: This study was carried out to assess the versatility of the submental intubation in the airway management of maxillofacial trauma patients. Materials and Methods: 20 patients with facial trauma were intubated with submental intubation for treatment of maxillofacial fractures at our center. Results: The patients ranged in age from 18 to 34 years. No complications due to submental intubation such as infection, hypertrophic scarring, bleeding, ranula formation, orocutaneous fistula, lingual nerve injury and hematoma were observed following submental intubation. Conclusion: The Submental intubation is a very useful technique in the management of maxillofacial trauma patients. It is a simple, secure and effective procedure for operative airway control in patients of maxillofacial trauma.

The aim of this work was contribute to the food safety of Sudanese consumers by studying the physicochemical properties and microbiological evaluation of peanut butter samples .The samples were collected from different area in Khartoum state. The results revealed that some samples were nutritive which had protein values ranged between (27.47-24.31%), oil content values ranged between (50.38-46.28%), energy values ranged between (610.69-600.03kcl/100g) and appear to have positive effects on human health and so could meet the dietary needs of the population. But concerning the quality, three samples were not meet the quality requirements because they showed high peroxide value (20.36, 19.05 and18.51m.eq./kg) which may affect the organoleptic properties of the product. Also the presence of salmonella in five samples may be responsible for many health hazards in human population.

    ABSTRACT:

History is the story of post happenings and events. It acts as a laboratory that experiment with the past. Past gives us the answer of our quest regarding People’s present behavior. With a deep rooted study of history, knowledge can be gathered regarding the present world, that how it has changed over time. According to a Philosopher George Santayana, “without learning lessons from the post you are deemed to repeat them in future”. Our Country, India also witnessed various atrocities and violence from the beginning. Documents as are gathered from the history show how crimes against female child are prevalent from the Vedic age. Mythologies also give us the proof of various atrocities. From that poetic age, the weaker sections were harassed, tortured and hated by the stronger sections. Due to male domination, society experienced violence against minor girls. Though Vedic girls were stated to be respected and honoured, but domination of male power over them are also prevalent. Due to their less physical strength they sometime have to sacrifice themselves at the altar of patriarchy.
