Here we report a case of young male whopresented with a 2-day history of dimunition of vision and metamorphopsia in left eye following an episode of direct sun-gazing lasting 1–2 min. On examination, visual acuity was reduced to 6/24 in left eye. Opthalmic examination revealed findings consistent with solar retinopathy .The patient was managed conservatively.

In this brief systematic review, we will discuss the key components in coffee that have a significant role in prevention of various liver diseases. The main components are chlorogenic acid (CGA), trigonelline, diterpenes kahweol, cafestol, 16-O-methylcafestol , melanoidins and caffeine. There are very few retrospective or prospective studies done to evaluate the association between coffee and liver. Most of the studies have been done on mice and rats at molecular level.
Background: It is known that no treatment has yet been developed for upper respiratory tract infections (URTI) caused by many different pathogenic mechanisms and the immune system must be strong in order to overcome the symptoms. Aim: To research the antimicrobial effects against clinically significant bacterial and fungal organisms and antioxidant activities of some syrups sold with and without prescriptions and commonly used for URTI in children. Design and setting: This study analyzed the syrups recommended by pediatricians for upper respiratory infections.

Extramuscular soft tissue myxomas are extremely rare with only 4 documented cases in english literature till date. Myxomas are benign connective tissue tumours of unclear histogenesis and etiology. Virchow coined the term Myxoma in 1871 while Stout defined the criteria for diagnosis in 1948. Cardiac Myxomas are the most commonly reported and researched, and surgery is the accepted treatment modality. Extra cardiac myxomas are less common and predominantly occur in the head neck region.
Pneumonia is the major cause of morbidity and mortality among young children. Globally, there are over 1,400 cases of pneumonia per 100,000 children, or 1 case per 71 children every year and is responsibe for the lives of over 800,000 children under five every year, including over 153,000 newborns. Objective: To identify sociodemographic factors and clinical characteristics of pneumonia in children between 1 month to five years of age. Materials & Methods: Hospital based prospective cohort study conducted at tertiary teaching institution in North India.
Background: At the beginning of the pandemic in Spain, concern was raised about the need to hospitalize the elderly living in nursing homes affected by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). A multidisciplinary hospital team was formed in Valladolid (Spain) to medicalize these facilities. Methods: 835 elderly residents (70% women and 30% men) of six nursing homes were analyzed.

There are numerous causes of child malnutrition among which demographic, socio-economic as well as many other factors are responsible for this condition.
