    ABSTRACT:

Objective: To translate, culturally adapt, validate, and investigate the reliability of Arabic version of Fremantle Back Awareness Questionnaire (FreBAQ-A) for patients with non-specific chronic low back pain (CLBP). Method: Thirty experts (three panels) and 270 non-specific CLBP patients (41.72±7.765years) were recruited for psychometric evaluation. Test–retest as well as internal consistency analyses were used to assess reliability. Intraclass correlation coefficient (95% confidence interval) was used to assess test–retest analysis, whereas Cronbach alpha value was calculated to assess the internal consistency. FreBAQ-A validity was evaluated in forms of face, content, internal, and external construct validity. Demographic parameters, clinical characteristics like pain using numerical rating scale (NRS), Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), and Tampa scale of kinesiophobia (TSK) were assessed along with responses to the study questionnaire. Results: Factor analysis revealed that the Arabic version of FreBAQ has two factorial structures and The FreBAQ-A correlated well with intensity of pain (r = -0.426), duration of the LBP (r = 0.526), disability score (r = 0.381), but no significant relation with TSK score (r = 0.257). The Cronbach alpha in this study for FreBAQ-A was 0.737 Cronbach’s Alpha for which is above 0.7, indicating that the scale Can be considered internally consistent within our sample, and below 0.9 suggesting that None of the items are redundant. It has high test-retest, the ICC value of the total questionnaire score Of FreBAQ-A was 0.96, (P< 0.0001) suggesting that test-retest findings are strongly correlated. Conclusion: The Arabic version of FreBAQ has acceptable psychometric properties of reliability and validity in the evaluation of back altered perception in Arabic‑speaking people with non-specific CLBP and can be useful for use in future research and clinical trials.

    ABSTRACT:

    ABSTRACT:

This paper examines the impact of governance on tourism development in the Balearic Islands of Spain. The government of the Balearic Islands has implemented policies aimed at promoting sustainable tourism in the region, such as the reduction in the number of beds available in tourist accommodation and the reduction in the use of single-use plastics. The investment in infrastructure, such as new airports and improvements to existing roads, has made it easier for tourists to access different parts of the islands, thereby increasing the number of tourists visiting the region and creating new tourism products. The private sector has also played a significant role in the development of tourism in the Balearic Islands through heavy investment in high-quality tourism infrastructure, including hotels and restaurants. However, the increase in the number of tourists visiting the region has put pressure on the environment, leading to issues such as overcrowding, noise pollution, and environmental degradation. This has also led to the gentrification of some areas of the islands, causing the displacement of some local communities. Therefore, it is important for the government and the private sector to work together to ensure that the tourism industry in the region is sustainable and benefits both the environment and the local communities. This paper provides insights into the positive impact of governance on tourism development in the Balearic Islands and the challenges that arise from tourism development. It also highlights the need for a comprehensive approach to sustainable tourism development in the region that takes into account the interests of all stakeholders.

    ABSTRACT:

Agricultural land should be used according to its capacity for optimum production at this time when precision farming is gaining wide acceptance. The ensuing land evaluation will involve assessment of the constraints in relation to suitability classes and the available options to mitigate them to attain the potentials. The soils of five locations in Moba LGA, Ekiti State Nigeria were characterized and evaluated for suitability to produceokro, tomato, celosia, leafamaranth and jute mallow. The soils were Alfisols on nearly flat to flat land with agro-ecological features adequate for the vegetables but with soil constraints of shallow top soil, coarse texture and poor structure which rate Pedons 1,2 and 3 as marginally suitable (S3) for all the vegetables, Pedon 4 marginally suitable (S3) for okra, celosia, leaf amaranth and moderately suitable (S2) fortomato, celosia and amaranthus production. The low basic cation content and CEC are the most critical soil fertility limitations which rateall the pedons as not suitable but potentially marginally suitable. Mulching and manuring to maintain soil organic matter at high levels and improve the CEC will make the soils moderately suitable. The split application of appropriate N, P and K fertilizers and complementary manure are recommendations for attaining potential suitability rating in the site.

    ABSTRACT:

This study was undertaken to generate useful information regarding the physical properties of parboiled rice. Under this study, three parboiled rice varieties, namely IR1010, Mahamaya and Swarna were selected, which are commonly used for the preparation of puffed rice in the Chhattisgarh state of India. Physical properties, namely length, width, thickness, geometric mean diameter, arithmetic mean diameter, surface area, sphericity, aspect ratio, thousand grain weight, angle of repose, bulk density, true density, porosity, and coefficient of friction on different surfaces, were investigated. A slight variation in the length, width, and thickness was observed due to the varietal differences. The aspect ratio was nearly similar for all three varieties. The mean value of thousand grain weights and angle of repose for IR1010, Mahamaya and Swarna varieties were found to be 23.40 g, 24.67 g, 22.73 g, and 27.68°, 24.15°, and 24.80°, respectively. The true and bulk densities of IR1010 were slightly lower as compared to Mahamaya and Swarna. A similar trend was also observed for porosity. In the Swarna variety, lower coefficient of friction was observed as compared to IR1010 and Mahamaya. The present study will be beneficial in fabricating machines for the parboiled rice processing industry, such as puffing, flaking, etc., which would be helpful in eliminating various losses during processing and the development of quality products.

    ABSTRACT:

The objective of this study was to assess the knowledge and satisfaction of the population on the National Program of Sanitized Schools and Villages (NPSSV) as well as their practice in post-certification. An analytical cross-sectional study was carried out in 3 intervention Health Zones during the period from November 15 to 27, 2022. The statistics were carried out with Pearson's chi2, Fisher's Exact Test, ANOVA Test and Kruskal Wallis Test, according to the conditions of their applications. The knowledge most represented on the NPSSV, regardless of site, was "the drinking water coverage improvement program" (99%), the other components of the program were poorly known (p≤0.05). The village certification criteria and the tasks of the village committee members were poorly known (p≤0.05). Almost all of the population currently uses unimproved water sources (92%), indistinctly of Health Zone. Surface water and traditional wells are significantly more used (p≤0.05). Poor construction, lack of maintenance and sabotage of structures were the most cited causes of the deterioration of water structures (p≤0.05). Satisfaction with the program and the quality of the works is very good, differently between the Health Zones (p>0.05). Diarrheal episodes were observed in 33% of households, the median number of people with diarrhea and the median number of children under 5 years of age did not differ between Health Zones (p>0.05). The knowledge of the mothers on the key aspects of the NPSSV is limited, their appreciation of the implementation of the activities is satisfactory and the households no longer use the improved water points. This maintains a high incidence of diarrhea at the household level. Other measures are essential to deal with it.
